Hello,

I've read the FAQ & downloaded everything it says I need. Already have DAEMON installed & running. I downloaded Selfboot & that's where I'm getting lost. It says I need the ID numbers for my writer & reader. I don't know how to get those. I know how to look up the Driver version, etc of my Pioneer DVD ROM drive, but not sure what to look for to get the ID's. I'm rather confused with what to do next. Essentially I have a lot of Dreamcasat games (orginals that I bought) & just really am confused with what to do next to get the games to run with Chankast. Any help would be appreciated.

there is a bach file in the download thats called scanbus.bat...it will tell you the id

cdrecord -scanbus
or with cdrecord version 2:
cdrecord -dev=help
then e.g., cdrecord -dev=ASPI: -scanbus

Thank you for your response. I ran the Scanbus.bat, and I get this....

So from that, I would guess the only ID I'm getting is 0,0,0, but I'm not sure if I should be getting any other info or if I just enter 0,0,0 for both read & write?
