Hi everybody,

I run chanka 0.2a version on a Pentium IVC 2.6Ghz@3.1Ghz, with a radeon 9500 modded to 9700, 512 Mo RAM, and the game is so slow you can't even play a round.

Does anybody have the same problem ? Is there anything to do to fix the problem or should I just wait for a new chanka version ?

Thanks for your answers

yes, how much do you consider "slow" or "unplayable"?

I can play it at 40 fps - AMD 2600+, Ati9600xt, and this doesn´t seems "unplayable" to me, but it is s little slow (40 fps instead of 60)

I get about the same on my P4 2.2 with an ATI 9600XT. It isn't unplayable by any means, just a bit slow, and if it really bothers you, you could always go here (http://ebgames.com/ebx/product/195512.asp) to get the stuff to play it at 60 fps with no errors

just undercloack or overcloack the cpu (in chanka) by using + and -

I get 25 fps max. And it's a bit slow to really enjoy the game, even if I'm very patient...
If my dreamcast was still able to read GD-ROMs, I would still use it to play. I will just wait for a new version of Chanka, maybe it will fix my problem.

Thanks.

I get 32/30 fps on my specs (see sig) If i underclock the cpu to 55.

Ive been hooked on this game since v0.2. Ive unlocked alot of characters, and it plays very smooth at around 30fps. I sometimes overclock the cpu by 10, which helps a little.

9600pro (540/350), XP 2100+ 2.2ghz. (Rest is in my profile) I am also using the Catalyst 4.4 pack from omega.
