12/06/2004: Chankast alpha 0.2 released.

About the news in this release:

- Improved stability, no more random crashes during gameplay
- Fixes to the GFX core for games such as Shenmue 1&2 and Soul Calibur
- Better compatibility, for example F355, Dead or Alive 2, Virtual On and many, many more
- Optimized code for even more speed
- Option to over- and underclock the SH4 CPU
- Completly re-done PAD configuration screen
- Added support for PAD plugins
- Added an option for cable selection
- Integrated Capcom hack into the other versions
- Re-worked menu and help file
- ... and many more fixes we don't really remember ;)

Sites being hammered... says unable to find resources to send....

edit: actually, doesn't look like its been uploaded yet as the previous versions download fine... patience everyone

Mirrors anyone? Actually I don't think it being hammered is the problem. You can download the old releases just fine.

This is the first time i styed up till midnight to wait for the release of a emulator and it sucks that the download link is down.

but i cant wait

That's a lot of posts in a few minutes. I'm sure it will be out eventually even if it does take a few more months...errr minutes.

it would be funny if they are reading these post right now and laughing knowing how much people love this new emulator that we are willing to wait and wait for a new release.
