I need help on the next pointers:

*How do I know if a game is self bootable?(besides of testing it in the DC itself)
*can I run a game from a CD-RW?
*do I have to do the self bootable CD from the original DC cd's or from an ISO image?
*which is best daemon or alcohol 120%?
*please give me a link or the name for an app for self-booting that actually works.

because I've tried everything but the game won't boot at all.

hi,
*1) if you mount the image with daemon tools, or just place the cd in the drive it will try to play it as an audio cd, that means it is bootable
*2) yes you can i think, i havent actually tried but im pretty sure you can.
*3) No from an ISO unless you plan on ripping the games via dc coding cable + broadband adapter yourself
*4) I use daemon tools for the virtual drive its easier, but alcohol might be better for you ;)
*5) Get the Selfboot kit described in the thread sticky at the top! it does work!

ups, one more thing what image should i create instead of an ISO ??

I have created a .cdi self-boot image and it didn't work with the latest version of daemon tools. The emu just kept seeing it as an audio cd, but when I loaded it in Alcohol 120% it worked just fine. So I guess you should just try what's best for you.
