my chankast playing up

For some reason when i click init in chankast without an iso loaded it shows dreamcast and the swirl straight up rather than the dot bouncing on the dreamcast letters then the swirl swirling in

And whenever i try to play a game i cant move at all but all the buttons work and i havent changed my controller config at all

Anyone had this problem or know how to fix?

It was fine before though
