[JETSETRADIO] Graffiti problem (keyboard)

I have a problem with chankast and Jet Set radio : when i try to make a big graffiti, i push the analog stick down and the guy doesn't make the graffiti.
Why ? I have to press other buttons or is it a problem in chankast ? :huh:

having the same problem with my sidewinder, strange really, well i don't have any similar problems in any other games, so i don't mind
