OK well I was wondering if someone could give me a technical definition of what SSE actually is! And what it does.

SSE stands for single SIMD extensions, what it basically is is several CPU intstructions that improve 3d graphics performence and calculations of a CPU, it was first introduced with the Pentium III, so i recon Intel possibly invented it.
