If you have the US version, then you have automatically the jap version, but only in (1.0)
just use this code: 8111B819 0000 (on gameshark menu)
Then your game will be same as (U)(!)(1.2), but in japanese.

OK, I'll try to explain better.
The Jap version of Zelda Is = of the US version 1.0.
In the US version 1.0 they forgot to remove the Japanese and the (!) chinese text; also they forgot to remove a (beta?) item that actually you can find it only on JAP. So the 1.1 and the 1.2 us version were also made for remove all this stuff.

Here are some codes: 8011A672 0055 (unknown item, don't save!)
8011A63B 000E (boomerang as an adult; this was programmed on early stages. Again is beta stuff so don't save)

Dark Blue Tunic 8011A640 0039
Dark Green Tunic 8011A640 0038
Dark Red Tunic 8011A640 003A
Light Green Tunic 8011A640 003B
Alternative versions of the officials tunics.

Just try it;) (remember, use 1.0)
