I don't think alcohol120 makes cdi images nor does nero. Are most of you guys using cdi images? does nrg images work as well? Can someone comfirm does alcohol120 mount images or just daemon tools? thanks

cdi images are created using DiscJugler.

Afaik Alcohol and daemon tools supports CDI. I'm using the latter without problems.

I've backups on nrg, cdi and mds and all formats work ok... if they are working (burned) on your DC then are ok.

Someone posted and said Alcohol 120% is faster, but I can't confirm that since I never used Daemon Tools.

go to emulation properties and tweak the settings, alchool is 200x faster .

I can at least tell that deamon tools has NEVER given me any problems emulating the ISO as a cd-rom. I've even made an iso of a game I owned and ran it from the HD using d-tools.
