I've tried playing Soul Calibur on Chanka and even used the overclocking option, but it's still too slow on most of the arenas. That's a pity. The game looks great, anyway!

Might as well post here again.
First, compability list is wrong about Wetrix + AGAIN! Wetrix was never ported to Dreamcast. The only version of Wetrix was Wetrix +, remove Wetrix from that list. And I can confirm that the full version with CDDA doesn't work.
Ikaruga works, but music synchronization is a bit wrong, invisible bullets in second level. One enemy formation near the end of first level seems wrong...
Skies of Arcadia (Echelon)works fine here, but the music screws up somehow (it still plays, just not like it should, hard to explain, anyone have any solutions for me until I buy a Gamecube and the Gamecube version of the game?)
Don't ask me why, but I have the Japanese version of Dancing Blade, doesn't get past title screen.
Cosmic Smash does indeed work nicely, but it's a boring game.

Ok, the Utopia boot disc worked with Border Down. Jet Grind Radio worked fine. Red Dog has no music... And the errors already listed... Which reminds me: Red Dog is listed twice (like Wetrix +), fix that.

Sonic Adventures, right after the sega logo u must underclock the cpu to 50, and U MUSTN'T play it in fullscreen.
Buzz Lightyear: U people say that it is unplayable, me and my friends tested it on 5-6 computers and it works fine. U just need to underclock the CPU for the whole time.

Do You have a selfboot version (of Giant Gram 2000)??
I have a selfbooting GG2000. Works fine for me in Chankast. Just took the files from the CD, ran through the process discussed here in post #6:
http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=27469
And no problems with it.

90 Minutes Sega Championship Football: Black screen (thx yop)
Hey. I think YOP had Echelon version with intro. I ripped GD and it working fine. Menus are invicible - use Zwrite to see options and off it on mach. Game speed is good (50-60 FPS) only at menus. In game has only 20-25 FPS / nothing missing / some very small glitches on score after goal = playble. I will post some screens tommorow.

The same thing happens to me in the 2nd level (invis. bullets). Is there a setting I can change to fix this? Because other people who have posted here don't seem to have any problems at all with the game.

Well i have to say, this is pretty playable for my S3 Prosavage , in crazy taxi 2 though u ppl with f^$@*~g better GFX cards :yucky: :paperbag: :homestar: but yeah my PC is pretty under requirements but i bet my PC is used of me pushing it to da MAX! anyways PICCY!

Vigilante 8: 2nd Offence is listed as being unplayable due to huge graphical errors, but when I run it, it looks perfect. The only thing that is wrong with it is that the intro runs at about 5fps, and the menus are funky but still very managable. I get about 50fps throughout while ingame, though.

No offense, but that's a pretty old card to be trying this particulare emultor on, and if I had to guess, I'd say that's why you're getting lousy video.;)

How well can DreamCast emulator handle games?
Depends on the game. Some games run full speed with flawless graphics, others are a bit slower than they should be, but still run perfectly. Meanwhile, other have bug that either make them crash or have graphics glitches.;) All in all, a really good emu.

about nba 2K2: Yesterday very late at night I found out that it's not only NBA 2K2 that hangs the game after intro video but every "sega sports" games
there seems to be something preventing them to boot but there are very few files in common in which some code that could cause the emu to hang and close:
-manatee.drv
-IP.BIN
-1st_read.bin
-Main.BIN
-Warning.DA
-Title.SFD
-Stream.T??(I don't remember the file extention)
If anyone can help me test....
If I rename the main.bin to 1st_read.bin the emu goes blackscreen but doesn't hang,If I remove any of the non-bin files it's the same but anyway intro doesn't play anymore:ranting:

If gamne wont run on chankast than you cant do anything especially if you have echelon relase with intro :D
-manatee.drv - main sound driver
-IP.BIN - bootsector
-1st_read.bin - main exe file
-Main.BIN - game files all in one
-Warning.DA - "This disc is for Dreamcast only..."
-Title.SFD - opening movie
-Stream.T??(I don't remember the file extention) - sounds / music

Madh: You have to use the "old graphics" version to get rid of the overlay in psy. Then its near perfect, just a few normal clipping errors and what not. Find old graphics exe in 0.2.

Air Force Delta
This one bothered me. Had to be run in NTSC. squashed screen was annoying. Audio was glitchy as hell. chanKast seemed to have problems rendering the runway, as you can see below.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/AIRFORCEDELTA_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/AIRFORCEDELTA_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/AIRFORCEDELTA_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/AIRFORCEDELTA_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/AIRFORCEDELTA_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/AIRFORCEDELTA_003.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/AIRFORCEDELTA_004_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/AIRFORCEDELTA_004.jpg)
Army Men: Sarge's Heroes
The opening credits and Main Menu were fine, but as soon as I got ingame, nothing except the HUD was visible. I tried using the Capcom Hack, Zwrite and the other option, with no effect.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/Armymen_Sargesheros_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/Armymen_Sargesheros_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/Armymen_Sargesheros_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/Armymen_Sargesheros_002.jpg)
Bangai O
Same problem as Air Force Delta, with the squished screen. Main Menu and the ingame demo work, but any attempts to start the game cause chankast to lock up.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/bangai-O_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/bangai-O_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/bangai-O_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/bangai-O_002.jpg)
Sword of the Berserk: Gut's Rage
Pretty cool game. It runs pretty good, with the exception of dialogue running behind from the ingame cinematics. I can live with that.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BERSERK_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BERSERK_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BERSERK_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BERSERK_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BERSERK_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BERSERK_003.jpg)
Blue Stinger
Main Menu, and opening video are all fine. As soon as you try to actually play though, it punks out and locks up. Dialogue and audio are off timing in the opening cinematic as well.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/bluestinger_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/bluestinger_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/bluestinger_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/bluestinger_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/bluestinger_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/bluestinger_003.jpg)
Capcom Vs. SNK - Millennium Fight 2000
Runs fine, with the exception of no music during actual gameplay. All the sound effects are there though, so it's all good.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_003.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_004_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_004.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_005_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_005.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_006_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/CVS1_006.jpg)
Capcom Vs. SNK 2: Millennium Fight 2001
Audio is all fine. A little laggy on heavily rendered levels, but otherwise fine. Also, any character on the left, whether it's player or cpu; has slight graphic issues as seen below. Nothing serious. Just a couple of lines running through the character. Also noticed a slight glitch in the desert dunebuggy level. Clouds are seen through the fighters as the jump up.

Ecco The Dolphin: Defender of the Future
I love Ecco. I always have since Genesis. The only problem I've found with this, is the lack of rendering distant graphics, as seen in pics 3 to 5. Other then that, the game plays very smooth. Audio is fine too.

Frame Gride
Awesome game. It took me a while to figure out what everything did, seeing as the game is japanese. I got the hang of it pretty quick though. Graphics are a little laggy in some parts, and the game as a whole a tad slow. Overclocking and underclocking had no effect. Some graphics started to overlap, but nothing too major. the game was still very playable. I ended up getting sucked into this one for a couple of hours. :P

Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise from the Ashes
All in all a good game, with some issues concerning ingame videos and audio. Mostly when your getting your briefing. The audio was completely out of sync, and badly distorted. Gameplay itself was fine.

Ikaruga
Awesome game, except for the borders on either side. That was really annoying, but I can live with it. I haven't bothered trying to get to the second boss yet, so I have no idea if I'll have the same issue as the others here have had. Also, I have no idea if the Game Mode screen is actually supposed to look like that or not. Meh...whatever.

Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles
This whole thing seemed to run fine for me. I don't know if I'll actually spend much time with this one though. Seems like a pretty simple and somewhat boring game.

King Of Fighters 2002
Ran alright except that it was a little slow. Overclocking and underclocking had no effect. Still pretty playable.

Mortal Kombat Gold
Runs perfectly except for one problem: NO AUDIO. I mean, there was audio in the intro movie, the credits and whatever else. But NO audio from the main menu, to the character and difficulty screens, all the way to when Tanya snapped my neck, and I was sent down a deep pit of spikes.
Anyone know how to fix that?

REZ
I love this game. It's so damn fun. The only problem I had was the audio running slightly slower, but not by much. gameplay itself is pretty smooth.

Sega Smash Pack Vol. 2
This is a compilation pack of 100 games from Sega Genesis. the problems are varied depending on the game, although, they DO work. Just not very well. you can see Dragon Ball Z below as an example.

Sonic Shuffle
Opening credits, and opening movie work fine. Once the movie is done, the screen goes white. you can hear the main menu music playing, but playablity-wise; this is as far as I got.

Spider-Man
Runs perfectly. the opening song on the main menu rocks, and Narrations by Stan "The Man" Lee himself?? Sweeeett!!!

Tech Romancer
I *@%&'n LOVE THIS GAME!!!! Everything runs perfectly up to speed, except for 2 problems. #1(which actually doesn't bother me): is there is a slight glitch audiowise when you use the beam weapon from the chest (for that robot anyway). #2: This one pisses me off. ChanKast itself will randomly crash, and it's ONLY while playing this. It could be 5 minutes in, or it could be 2 hours in. It's totally random, and it's driving me nuts!!! out of all the games I've posted, this is by far, my most favourite. I REALLY want this problem corrected. Does anyone have any ideas at all how it can be solved??? PLEASE?!?!?!?

Alrighty. New batch.
First up...
Neon Genesis Evangelion: Rei Breeding Plan
Worked pretty good. No complaints at all, nor did I really notice any problems with it. I love that opening Broccoli credit! "Nuh nuh nuh! Broccoli Ya!?" :D

Demolition Racer: No Exit
Fear Factory + Crashing cars = good? Hell yes!! not too many problems. Opening intro worked alright. Music during the main menu is slighty laggy, but listenable. Gameplay was smooth, but music while playing was crap. I tried the Capcom Hack, and that didn't go too well. the ingame camera went nuts, and ended up being underneith the map looking up. It was really weird.

Dino Crisis
Works pretty good. Capcom hack, ZWrite & NTSC settings were needed. Other then that, plays pretty well. Cinematics only play on half the screen.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOCRISIS_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOCRISIS_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOCRISIS_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOCRISIS_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOCRISIS_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOCRISIS_003.jpg)
Disney's DINOSAUR
Plays fine. May need Zwrite to fix some very minor glitches with rendering treelines. Intro movie was awesome. It's straight from the movie.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOSAUR_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOSAUR_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOSAUR_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOSAUR_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOSAUR_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/DINOSAUR_003.jpg)
Dance dance Revolution: Club Version/Dreamcast Edition
After going through the opening DC logo, and standard credits, the screen will go whiteish grey for a few seconds before playing main credits and opening video. Last time i checked, I had to let it sit for about 10-20 seconds. I believe I needed the Capcom hack for this one. It plays alright except that the intro movie and almost all of the game plays in 1/4 of the screen. Nothing is fullscreen at all.

Buggy Heat
This one plays pretty smooth. you'll need the capcom hack, zwrite, and alphatest zwrite options on for this. Also, it'll freeze up or crash Chankast the odd time.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BUGGYHEAT_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BUGGYHEAT_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BUGGYHEAT_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BUGGYHEAT_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BUGGYHEAT_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BUGGYHEAT_003.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BUGGYHEAT_004_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BUGGYHEAT_004.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BUGGYHEAT_005_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/BUGGYHEAT_005.jpg)
Charge N' Blast
Runs okay. There seems to be no music and some sound effects are missing from gameplay. Not all, but some.

Chicken Run
movie clips, audio, and ingame cinematics are all fine. Audio and gameplay are smooth. BUT, this game will physically crash ChanKast as soon as you try to leave the Chicken Coop.

MACROSS M3
Oooohhh yeeeaahhhh!! This game rocks. I'm still trying to figure out a way to set this up for my gamepad, as you need to use the stick and D-pad, and I hate using the arows keys on the keyboard. Opening Credits: perfect. opening Movie: Perfect (the song is kickass). Menu, option screens, etc: Perfect. Ingame graphics? Eeeehh. Some slight rending problems with clouds. they look okay with Zwrite and Alpha off, but overlap certain things. Your better off with them on. I took lots of screenies for this one :D

Rent a Hero works good, at full speed, with a few glitches, which can be solved by turning on wireframes, then turn off when playing. Unfortunately it crashes at the end of the first fight.
Frame Gride works according to the compatibility list, but it didnt for me, it showed up as a music cd, not a game one.

New batch.
Aikagi
Works perfectly. I don't speak or read japanese, but I'm definitely convinced this is a softcore Hentai text game.

Jet Grind Radio
Works pretty good for me. Haven't really had any problems yet. pretty sure capcom hack, zwrite, and alphatest were all enabled for this.

Ill Bleed
Some slight graphical glitches, in-game dialogue is off time, runs a tad slow. Capcomhack, alphatest, and zwrite seem to correct some minor issues, but creat other minor issues. Nothing major, just the minor graphic glitches.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_003.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_004_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_004.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_005_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_005.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_006_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_006.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_007_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/illbleed_007.jpg)
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
This one is tricky. Capcom hack on, zwrite and alphatest off. Movies play fine, with cpu at 100. In-game, turning capcom hack off will make the game run too slow, so you'll have to overclock to around 400 with Capcom hack ON for perfect gamespeed. In-game dialogue is non-exist. all sound FX and music is there.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_003.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_004_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_004.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_005_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_005.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_006_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/soulreaver_006.jpg)
Shenmue II
Some graphical glitches. Music seems to be non-existant. Dialogue is off time, and the game as a whole runs sluggish when rendering alot of graphics (which is more or less the whole game).
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_003.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_004_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_004.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_005_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_005.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_006_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/shenmueII_006.jpg)
Dragon Riders: Chronicles of Pern
Another tricky one. Zwrite, alphatest, and capcom hack off for movies and menu make them run perfect. In-game, you'll need capcom hack off for dialogue, and ingame cinematics. you'll need capcom hack on to speed actual gameplay up. some rendering issues unfixable for me.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/dragonriders_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/dragonriders_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/dragonriders_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/dragonriders_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/dragonriders_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/dragonriders_003.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/dragonriders_004_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/dragonriders_004.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/dragonriders_005_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/dragonriders_005.jpg)
Fighting Vipers 2
Zwrite on, alphatest on, capcom hack off. Audio perfect. graphics perfect.
Gameplay a little sluggish.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/vipers2_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/vipers2_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/vipers2_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/vipers2_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/vipers2_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/vipers2_003.jpg)
Heavy Metal: Geomatrix
Capcom hack on. Zwrite on. Alphatest on.
Absolutely perfect.
http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_001_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_001.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_002_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_002.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_003_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_003.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_004_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_004.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_005_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_005.jpg)http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_006_thumb.jpg (http://www.watthephuc.com/uploader/files/2/ChanKast/heavymetal_006.jpg)

When I try to run Marvel vs. Capcom 2 [consists of (MARVEL_VS_CAPCOM2.mdf) and (MARVEL_VS_CAPCOM2.mds) files], it'll start up, but it has somewhat blurry graphics. Also, after the memory card loading screen, the game freezes. When I try to exit the program, normal means don't work, so I use alt+ctrl+delete. After a few seconds, the display driver stops working properly, the colors are all screwed up and the display size is way too big to fit in the screen. Then I'm forced to restart my computer to fix that problem. I've tried adjusting all of the settings, nothing works.
If anyone can help, they will be very appreciated.
I'm using Windows XP - Service Pack 2, Version 2000.

^ Thats interesting drewmaster, when I run it, it runs almost perfect. There is only slight slow down in the menu screens. In game its smooth as silk. :P No freezing or glitches whatsoever.
Maybe your specs are too low?? What video card are you using?
My specs: W XP, P4 3.0ghz, 1gb RAM, ATI AiW X800XT
On another note, I didnt see REsident Evil: Nemesis listed, but for me it just stops at the Sega screen and then I have to close it. And apparent DOA 2 works for others but I cant get it to work. It freezes after the Sega screen and requires a CTRL ALT DEL. Any ideas??

Would it have something to do with the file type or the person who made it?
Then again, it may have something to do with the graphics card. I downloaded two different MVC 2's from different sources and with slightly different file names and they both do the same thing.
Or, would the version of Daemon Tools have anything to do with it?
And, how do you find out which graphics card your using? I don't know where to look.

Well the saying goes..."If you dont know what your graphics card is you probably dont have one."
In any case to check go to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Display Adapters. Let me know what it says there.

82 pages (phew) Is there anyway this can be condensed, into a newer compatible list if there have been improvements. 82 pages is a lot to read.
I've got Ready 2 Rumble working fast in fact too fast, it's running at a crazy frame rate - any tips on slowing it down. The only problem I've got is no audio during the actuall game, got it in the intro, but not actuall game, if anyone got sound on this game please let me know how.

Yeah the VIA/SG3 UniChrome IGP is a 64mb on board graphics solution. Not you best bet for Chankast. Are you able to play other games and its just MVC2 thats a problem? The rest of your system is decent so maybe you could look into upgrading and getting a dedicated video card because your video hardware does seem to be what is causing all the funky colours and crashes.

Those 2 bars are supposed to be there, as it's a vertical shooter they verticalized the screen. Just check the original game videos at Gamespot.
There's a bug in a section of the second stage where you can't see some of the bullets, but I managed through that part without dying after some training (stick close to the sides and you'll know better when to switch colors).

Jet Grind Radio :
Works, and it's playable. Minor graphic bugs.
I have to get the cpu to 80%, not sure if you guys have to do the same.
The game may not work properly with a keyboard ( Big graffiti ), but it does with an analog controller.
Plus, if you work around the analog speed with Darkman's input plugin you maybe can get past this problem.
Slowsdown sometimes, maybe because of my cpu ?

Yea, Jet Grind Radio works almost perfectly. It does have some graphics bugs, but I think thats because of the celshading, sometimes the model goes completly black, and FPS drops to 10.

The last I had heard of re-volt was that it got past the logo screens and then froze/crashed. (yes, I searched these forums and many others while I was at it) Well, I tested it out today and got something that was at least kind of different.
It may look as though it's frozen after the logos, but it's actually still running with no sound or graphics. If you press the start/A button enough you will get to a track and a perfectly rendered loading screen will appear. http://img218.imageshack.us/my.php?image=chankastshot26qg.gif
Unfortunatly, after that, this is what you get:
http://img215.imageshack.us/my.php?image=chankastshot3nd.gif
I tried a few things (disabling textures and such) and at one time got the menus to be there even though they lacked text. I think it was some combination of disabling textures and something else, but I can't get it to work again.

I've found that by running Chankast V0.2a Old GFX, Re-Volt displays more or less correctly, and you can actually get into the game and race. Trouble is, the fastest FPS I've been able to get out of it is 40 (by underclocking the CPU to 90) so it's a little sluggish. It's depth perception also seems very weird, as the clouds, trees, and other things move from the backgroun to the foreground through transparent buildings and roads seemingly at random. The cars are rendered perfectly from what I can see.
So I guess this would update Re-Volt from "crashing after 2nd logo" to "playable, but major graphics issues"
EDIT: Er... upon closer inspection... the vehicles are rendered perfectly if they were slightly transparent in the original version... which I doubt...

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 1/Tokyo Highway challenge here in the UK
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v258/danworth/txr1.jpg
Works, and much more playable then the 2nd one, GFX appear almost 100%, the usual problem when changing view to inside the car looks back (which i've noticed is common with all DC games in chankkast) no rear view mirror, slight "chopping" on the sprites as you can see on the speedo. also needs to be set to NTSC instead of VGA on cable type other wise an error occurs. other then that works fine.

Anyone tryied Soul Calibur? Also, it would be better to try games with glitches and non working games on all the 3 versions of the emu to see if any game will work better.
Soul Calibur is working without problems...
Btw... Is there anyone with working Resident Evil 2?

I have these two images (Sonic = .mds & Prince = CDI).
I haven't been able toget any of these to work, using Chankast.
I have tried the Selfboot GUI by Exoskeletor v1.1 and still no luck.
I also am using 3.29 of Daemon Tools.
What am I doing wrong?
FMI: I mount the image in DT 3.29 and use the selfboot to make it a cdi. I then mount the cdi and open Chankast 0.25. None of them work!
I got I/O error when using Alcohol soft, and now I get insert Disc with DT 3.29.

Soul Calibur: Works almost perfectly, vs screen is a little glitchy, but other than that it works perfectly, full speed too
After the first vs screen almost ALL 2d graphics screw up making large areas of the game unplayable. Museum mode, Card Collection viewing....
The problem gets steadily worse the longer you play.
However -=Zenith=- and i repaired the problem as you can see at this thread:

Remove that link, or be banned. Released or not, it's still owned by someone. Ask Nintendo. Did they ever release Starfox 2 (it was a SNES game that was never released)? No, they didn't. And yet, they still own it. In other words, get ready to be banned... Trust me, this site isn't very lenient in that regard. And I don't blame them. On top of that, what's to stop someone from using your link to find something else, that is less legal than this Half-Life image is (not saying it's legal, but that if it has any legality at all, the other stuff must be less)? Sorry, but your days are numbered.
Also, did you even bother looking at Chankast at all? When was the last time it was updated? 2 years ago? More? All I know is that it wasn't recently, and it won't be anytime soon.
On top of that, Half-Life is, I'm pretty sure, a Windows CE game (this would explain why it was easy to port it to the Dreamcast, after all). Chankast has no support, at all, for anything that uses Windows CE stuff. In other words, it's not going to happen.
As I see it, you've got 3 strikes already, and all in one post. Nice job. Linking to illegal material, asking for an update (when it hasn't been touched in years) and asking for support for something that isn't going to see the light of day for a long time to come (excluding the fact that Chankast hasn't been touched in years).
Good luck with all that. I suggest you do a little more research next time.
Last, I'm up too late. I know that's a terrible excuse, but I'm hoping that my comment here (the post I've written) will help you understand that it's very wise to look before you leap, figuratively speaking. It seems to me, that you leaped, and didn't look. Think (more than) twice when saying something, and it will benefit you greatly. Not just here, but in life in general. Trust me, doing that will get you far.
Hopefully you at least get rid of that link before a mod sees it. Mouser X over and out.

Well sorry! I was already pretty sure that post was pushing it well I was typing it. Im alright anyway I have it on my PC. Sorry. Something weird, I am having MAJOR problems with Sonic Adventure 2. If you need my specs to know why here they are:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ 2.4GHz (graded at 6.9GHz)
HP A1630N
Super Multi Drive
Blu-Ray Drive
2048 MB of RAM
Integrated Nvidia GeForce 6150LE 256 MB of shared memory
250 GB HD 7,200 RPM
300 Watt Power Supply
So, is the problem im using a Nvidia card? I used search and found thats the cause. I dont know if I have the same problem but Ive played through the first boss, (I got it yesterday through eBay) and theres walls everywhere! I cant see anything! through almost the entire level and the BIG FOOT boss battle!!
Walls everywhere! I cant see anything, I can walk through them though. Too bad theres no Nvidia fix... :( Please someone make a fix! I have no idea how and I want to get a 512 MB graphics card and the only one for my power supply is the PNY GeForce 7600! All the ATi cards need bigger power supplys!

I'd like it to be noted that I wasn't meaning to be rude, so much as I was attempting to get some sort of "shock" value, in the hopes that it'd stick for you to think twice. I do appreciate you coming here. New members/users are always nice to have. However, when they're smarter than monkeys, it's especially nice. My post was more aimed at helping you avoid the "monkey" group, so to speak.
In other words, sorry to be rude. I didn't mean to be. Glad you're here. Sorry I can't help you on Sonic Adventure (1 or 2). I don't have those ones. Try Demul (http://www.emutalk.net/demul/) (with the sound off, from what I've gathered, reading their boards). That one seems to run Sonic Adventure pretty good, I think. Hope that helps. Mouser X over and out.

I wouldn't say it's playable. You'll die a dozen times before you can possibly scroll two screens. The palette is totally wrong (green/blue), its hard to spot projectiles because of that. Plus, the controls are sluggish and the hitboxes are bad, it's hard to not die.
As I said, I'm puzzled if its chankast running it like shit, or the game actually being shit.
