how do i completely uninstall IE 6 from WinXP?

Meh...
i got this weird adware/spyware on it and i cant get rid of it nor can i find it. not even with ad-aware or other spyware removers. Someone help me out please?

The ads that show up, even when im in google, is stuff like trafficad, golden casino. And when i search on google it shows this extra search page and a popup comes up with these other links.

Yes I have Opera, but some sites I like to go to don't support opera that well.

Have you tried Spybot Search and Destroy v.1.3 RC4? and also Spyblaster?

I'd be surprised if those two programs miss it.

Get HijackThis and CWshredder. They will get rid of any ie hijack you've got. They are far more powerful than ad-aware/spybot etc

More powerful? Well, I don't know.

HijackThis does some useful stuff that Ad-Aware and Spybot don't do, and vise versa.

Like, HijackThis will remove stuff from startup and all that, but it doesn't physically remove the programs themselves. :)

I wouldn't mind IE so much if it weren't so god damned integrated into the OS (in that case I would simply not use it instead of complain about it.)

i reformated my drive.. saved all my good stuff, IE doesn't have the problem anymore.

I use IE to go on some sites i like to go to from time to time, and opera doesnt support those sites.
