umm, hate to spoil things or anything, but the from everyone elses point of view in that split, you got killed

It's kinda strange, yes... i remember a stupid welcome bot... it splitted, then joined again and it said "welcome" to everybody :p

How can it be? When someone is quitting due to a split, he can`t know who else was disconnected at the same time... And anyway, if I got killed, I wouldn`t be able to write that remark right at the end...

I cant seem to connect to any EFNet server, it keeps telling me Identd isn't installed or turned on and it is. I can connect to other servers, just not EFNet.

The only EFNet server that lets u join without ident is homelien afaik.

The users aren't actually quitting, the network is splitting, (netsplit). As a result it makes separate channels, which is why you can still type in the channel, and they can type in their split #emulation64 channel, wherever that is for them.
