I get VERY choppy audio in Mupen64. I've tried messing with the audio plug in but with no luck. Lowering the buffer to the lowest seems to help a little but it's still really choppy. Help please?

System Specs:
Epox 8RDA+
Athlon XP 1700+ @ 2.3 ghz
512 mb OCZ PC3500 dual channel
128 mb Sapphire Atlantis 9800
WinXP Pro

Mupen is slower than 1964/Project64, use them instead, they are more compatible anyway at this moment in time.

Mupen is definatly the choice for linux though.

OK, I'll go with one of those alternatives. I really only downloaded mupen64 for windows because I saw that while searching for an N64 emulator for Linux. I don't think my Linux box will even be able to run it though.
Linux box specs:
Dell CPHx 500GT notebook
500 mhz PIII mobile
128 mb SDRAM
8 mb ATI Rage M1 Mobility AGP

Not the greatest.
