I have recently upgraded my connection to Cable. I live in Albany and my provider is Time Warner (Roadrunner service). I am getting okay speeds but I would like to get as much as I could out of it. I am running Windows XP. Any one know of some good cable tweaks/sites?

From my experience with cable the fastest way to tweak it is to cut the cable wire. :D

I always thought the fastest way to electrocute yourself was to jump into a substation

I've known quite a lot of people online who have lost their cable access because of playing around with their modem be careful not to do anything which the ISP will notice at their end,

It's a risk alright, but if it's true about the shared 10M, it'd be worth it to get a nice chunk of that bandwidth.

No blizz, hes talking about tweaking the Windows registry to optimize for cable use. By default windows optimizes its settings for a 56k dialup modem.
