ive been talkin to some beta testers that are testing a new version of pj64k and they say its faster netplay and much better. . . i'm just wondering if anybody no's the progress on this emu since its been a year since they had a new version. just being curious and i will be very patient wenever the new release of this great modified emulator comes out.

Well, i talked to hotquik, and he said that altho it is faster, some things in the emu arent that great people would end up just going back to the 0.13 anyway. So, he's just putting it on hold for a while (working on a GCN emu). If only 1964 didn't button lag so much, we could all live healthier, fuller, lives... hmm..

1964 hardly lags for me. I played DKR for a while and it ran very good.

PJ64K on the other hand, we couldn't even get working.. The other person always had messed up graphics and/or couldn't control. 1964 worked awesome.

I wasnt saying lagging, I was aying delay for your controls. Lagging is a studdering game. 1964 is very well known for it's speed, which is why it worked well. But, if you're looking for real competeitive play, then 1964 is bad because you get unusually high ping's compared to pj64k. All those graphics problems can be fixed, quite easy in fact.

what do you mean by getting higher pings in 1964? i get the same pings for both emu's as for input lag it works best when u set to lag 3 not the default

for reals??? i didn't try the lag 3 setting at all, does it really make that much a difference on 1964?

Also, some of the reason noone plays it is because it would be hard to convert everyone.

yeah it duz make a difference BUT it will only make a difference if everybody has the lag setting on 3.

NeoNight! What's up! Yeah, lots of people do actually. There are like four clans, and if you decide to start playing a lot online again, i'd be kickass if you join my clan, eh?

ahh, project64k, those were the days. i still remember being one of the first ones to play with sound (for those of you who dont know, im an ex-beta tester for this emulator) i wasnt aware of a new version being worked on. hopefully itll be great. ahh, i still love it when me and We@ponX tested sound for the first time, it ruled. Well, i hope hotquik does release a new version of pj64k. the netplay was pretty good with it.

ah! the famous posty! I have since joined the team on the About file of PJ64k.

It looks as if 0.13 is the lastest version, and will be the only one that's any good for quite a while. Come on back, the gang's all here.

heh, the famous posty? :P i like the sound of that :P   If hotquik is in fact working on pj64k, i wouldnt mind getting back with the testers and helping out again. that is if, hotquik doesnt think im still a bitch (the reason i got booted form beta testers :P) yep, after 0.13, me and hotquik didnt talk until #dolwin on efnet. we seem to be getting along better now though. id be really glad to see this emu live again, or at least have it made open src so some of the great coders 'round here could help out with it. just somehting to make it live again :P

i dont know if he is stopping it, all i said is that i thought he was moving on to Dolwin only, and that ti would be great if it was true that he was making a new version.
