No sound in Donkey Kong 64

I've tried every audio plugin, but I can't get any kind of sound in DK 64. The game seems to work, but without sound. I have the japanese version. Maybe this is the problem?

Please, help me! Thanx a lot.

are you sure you tried all of them, i couldn't get sound until i used azimer's old driver

doesnt work with azimer's new plugin for me but the old one (v0.30) works

Another games have this problem too

I'm having this problem in other games when I run v0.7.2 (patched to 0.7.3). Games that had sound in v0.7.1, now are silenced (for example, Beetle Adventure Racing).

And I tried Azimer 0.30 old rev. too....

Azimer (full 1.2b) worked for me. (downloadable at Smiff's site)

Azimer 0.30 and 0.40 didn't work (at least not here *g*)

I can't find it!

In Smiff's site I just could find 0.30 version. Please, can you post the full link? Thank you very much.

hmm...think i confused myself with all the versions out there.....*g*

i meant azimer (full 0.12b) not 1.2b....sorry


but still, i downloaded that plugin from smiff's site.....

however, i just checked the site, and it seems it isn't there anymore.......odd.
