First of all, THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR GAME X! I'm just wondering why so many rom sites are full of crap. I do a search on Google and I keep getting results for Top 100 romsites which has nothing but popups, bad links, and that "vote for me" BS. The worst sites are the ones that claim to have "1000s of roms" yet they just redirect you back to a stupid toplist.
Since this forum is frequented by insiders of the emu-scene, can someone explain to me why it has to be like this?

Mainly coz most ROM sites get shut down so quickly that they only do it to get hits to their ads.

Oh I get it. Just claim to have roms and hope that a bunch of noobs will net you a few cents for every mouse-click. That is messed up.

Nope the emu scene is nothing like that. :p Just get on irc once in a while......

Well I don't like IRC that much this is much more fun :)
