creating roms???

Does anyone in this forum create roms? (before I get banned NO I'M NOT TRYIN TO GET ROMS FROM ANYONE!) Just kind of curious how a game is made. Do you make them from scratch or do you somehow get the program off a nintendo cartridge? If anyone could give me a brief summary (in lamens terms please, I'm no programmer) of how a rom is made I'd appreciate it.

I've been busy with creating GBC-roms, but not with anything else.

you get them directly from the cartridge. thats all the info we got to offer on this board.

Hah, I'll say that if you wanted to do a rom from scratch, you'd better know how to program.
