i don't speak a word of russian but i can understand DetonatorXP thats all :) the page is russian drivers are in english unless you change the language of them:
WinXP: http://www.nvworld.ru/docs/deton2k.html
Win2k: http://www.nvworld.ru/docs/deton9x.html
WinXP 64-bit (yea right): Http://www.nvworld.ru/docs/detonxp64.html
WinNT: http://www.nvworld.ru/docs/detonnt.html
And to answer your question NO i don't think its worth it downgrading to these drivers if you have to downgrade from the latest drivers use the 22.80 or 22.50 drivers their the best but do what you want to do but i advise against it, i mean if you want to use anisotropic filtering just turn it on through the options

official nvidia source for this driver:
"Products Supported:
Quadro
Quadro2 MXR
Quadro2 Pro
Quadro2 EX"
so these won't work with his gf2mx 400.

If you already have 21.xx drivers you should stick with them. The 22.xx and 23.11 drivers suck for image quality. They don't even support true 32-Bit..they run 32-Bit with a 24-Bit Z-Buffer. The 21.xx drivers do support true 32-Bit.
The 23.11 drivers are also unstable on some machines.
If you want 21.xx series dets. you can get them here.

The New ones give me trouble. I installed the new detonators and I got a hell lot of problems the 21.83 are the best there are cuz when I installed the new drivers and when I booted windows I only saw a green screen nothing more. I had to boot my pc in safe modes to delete those darn drivers and install the original ones again.

Yup i agree on that:the 21.83 are surely the best drivers with no bugs and really good quality.I had severe issues when i was using the 23.11 drivers with my GeForce 2 GTS(+anisotropic filtering is greyed out at PJ64) So i stongly suggest 21.83 as they are much more stable
