I'm not able to get past the "Choose Your Reality". In select location it only has two options--delete files or cancel. Doesn't matter what I choose. I can't get beyond that screen.

Ok, you want to make sure you're using N-Rages controller plugin. (Options, settings) Now, go to configure controller configuration (options) In N64-Plugin, make sure it's set to MemPak. Now, click on the folder to the right, name the MemPak, and click open.

Re-load the game now. And see if it works.

You can also use jabos plugin, no need to change to nrage if u dont normally use it.

Also make sure in the rom settings after you have loaded the game, that the save type is 16kbit EEPROM.

I followed both of your advice. I used the N-Rage Plugin and set to mempak and saved. I set the rom to 16kbit EEPROM. One thing I had to do was to delete the files in controller pak (was strange because there was data already saved but I never played the game before). After that I was able to play the game! Thanks for solving my problem!
