Sorry if this question was answered somewhere else but I´m new to this emulation stuff.
So here it is:
I have the latest release of project 64 and i tried to play the games over tv-out evrything is okay but when i switch to full screen mode there are wrong colors!
Is this something like a copy protection?

never tried this before, so grabbing a handy s-video cable we plugged everything in and.... it all was in black and white!

Reduced the resolution and played around with the pal settings and everything burst into life, both full screen and windowed resolution worked fine for me.

I used UK pal settings (thats where I am) a resolution of 1024x768 and 16 bit colours - TV was set to 60hz - panasonic

So play with the settings and everything should work ok

Hope this helps

yes, needs to be compatible with ntsc as most common roms are from this region

alot of newer TV's like my Trinitron (old model, not wega) dont support refresh rates under 60Hz, so PAL games flicker. make sure if you have a TV sold in the US use (U) roms only

edit: unless your TV supports ntsc
