the source is open, but i dont know of any communities that have gathered to work on it together yet. If youre out there REVEAL YOURSELVES. Maybe some other people would like to help.

I think it will take people a little bit to become comfortable with the PJ64 source as its so complex... therefore it will take a while before you see any un-official releases. If Any.
If people are working on it, they dont have to reveal themselves until they want to release... well I wouldnt because I know if I announced that I was working on it, people would bitch to me about adding feature x... or feature y... things that might be to difficult to add.
Blah Blah Blah... :p

If people would bitch me, I'd bitch them in return and threat to never release the emulator/plugin

I have had a good look at the source and it is very complex - To be honest if someone was to set about improving it it would take them ages to really be confident. To be honest it is there for other emu developers.
