I'm somewhat new to all this evoodoo and glide64 stuff, so I don't know what could be causing the problems. I'm using the latest version of glide64 (v0.5) and evoodoo 3.25 and I tried 3.1 and it does the same thing. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like during gameplay, could someone tell me if my settings are wrong or something?
Yes, I read the other thread similar to the black text thing, and my "A" button text such as "Attack" is black, but I also experienced other problems, such as link being completly black sometimes.

Use a later version of Evoodoo. There are a few threads around the boards about this as well if you need more info. :)
Something like evoodoo 3.99.

Yeah man, I had the EXACT problem, so either use Evoodoo 3.99 Beta or Evoodoo 4 alpha, because they both fix the problem, but some games work better with other versions.

I downloaded 3.99, and it fixed the graphical problems, but now it's kind of laggy. Anyway, thanks.

Try a earlier version than 3.99 then. I believe there's at least one below 3.99 that isn't 3.25. Ya just never know, experamenting is the best thing you can do with these things. Try messing with some options in the video config first, though.

Hey, it's not always Evoodoo. Try Glide64 v0.42 instead of v0.5 and you should get a speed increase. Also, don't set the resolution too high, unless you have a good enough card and a fast enough pc.

Thing is, glide .5 isn't much slower than .42.
