i'm not gonna type any names right out here.. because ppl don't use their real names here anyway.. i think i know who the person is.. but i'm not gonna point fingers.. i've been informed of someone using things of mine under there name and sending them with there CV to a sertain company.. i find that kinda silly.. and i find that kinda sad.. i left another scene a long time ago just because of that crap and i still think that's pretty sad.. just because i'm not around as often these days it feels a litle boring to check my emails and find out stuff like this..

my art website is kinda well known.. i don't want my real name to be known here or my real website because i like to keep some kind of privacy towards the ppl on it and to me.. also i've sent CV's all over the world.. game companies and art galleries.. etc etc.. this is how i pay the rent.. i sell my services to companies (sadly i still don't have a steady jobb or broadband so i can be online all the time).. anyway.., what i mean is.. if someone steals my pics and sends them with CV or puts a URL of something i've made on it.. there is a good chance that i allready have sent to them if it's a bigger company..

all i'm saying is.. please stop.. i don't like it.. and i don't want to have to put a big Copyright stamp on everything i do just to keep things mine..

believe,if someone is doing this,u should put copyright already,it is better than complain, even because who stole doesnt care about your warning

Sorry to hear that, you have kick ass designs and the only comfart I can think of is that people like your designs, hence the stealing... Instead of putting a big C on it, so that we can't steal in the future if we see something we like:P, you should confront the person / persons.. And if the don't confess, and also happen to be ET members put an forever ban...

CV is latin for Curriculum Vitae and is more or less your regular job resumé...

hey ren.. damn.. you know i miss you guys.. i never thought i'd say that :p.. hehe.. yeah.. it's a resumé thingy.. and yeah kind of.. i just don't feel like ´putting C's everywhere on the old stuff.. but i think i'll start to do so from now on.. it's kinda bad to the bone though.. kinda takes ones creative thinking down :/.. say hi to the guys from me.. and i hope your all doing great ren :)..

For the record, I don't "know" a better webdesigner than you, Ratty.

Me neither, not by far. And I know quite a few. And that's of course why your work is being stolen. Sucks to be talented. :(

Nice to see you posting every now and then, RatTrap. If it's someone from the emu sk3n3 who snagged your work feel free to let me know so I can ban him/her from the Emu64 servers. :)

Have you ever thought of using Digimarc? Its costs a bit but its invisible on the image itself.

Actually, the sad truth is that today cheaters DO prosper. :/
