The Xbox Controller S *colour* seem to be priced a lil too high? $41.95... I'm assuming they're in USD...
I'm in Canada and I can get them in store for $39.99 (Which is like $30 USD)... Also with the shipping and such added on... it'd cost wayyyy more... people will just go to their local shops and buy them?

Yes, the price is correct. It's aimed at the Swedish market, and not meant to sell Internationally. Unfortunately, there's no option to display certain items only for Swedish visitors. The recommended retail price by Microsoft in the US is $39.99, but here in Sweden the normal price is about $55. Our price is $41.99. One reason for the high price is Sweden's import tax of 25%.
Most of our prices on the store, for the smaller adapters and cables, are the best on the internet and shipping fees are very reasonable (starts at $4.50 for international orders). For example, we sell the N64 Adaptoid cheaper than the manufacturer does FFS. ;)
Thanks for asking, please let me know if you wonder about something else. :)

Thanks for answering :icecream:

Such taxes would make more sense if they were only for items that you can get domestically. :)

Hmmm, I've heard of no such tax. I import stuff at the price listed at the store; nothing more, nothing less.

Well when you get lucky you don't have to pay import tax. :P. I believe you should pay taxes for everything you import from outside the EU, but customs don't always check.

As mentioned, ours are not for international orders. However, that's interesting, I should import some from Frys then. :P

Yes, I don't think it's worth taking the risk unless you are ok with paying the taxes in the 1st place, could be much more expensive then first thought.. Bought a tiny little thing from Norway a couple of years ago, to make a long story short.. :P Got cought in customs, payed tax and got screwed since original price was in SEK and customs made it NOK... Really got screwd over... ;)

Sorry for bringing this even more off topic, but I remember buying some stuff at Play.com last year. Of course they had to send the items as seperate packages, so I had to pay 24% tax on 2 of 3 packages. But the worst part is that the customs charge you $20 to calculate the tax for you, so I had to pay that twice..only for a DVD and a game
Now I get stuff through customs in other ways though :satisfied
