prob when saving on paper mario

yow folks, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but sometimes when I save the game on the normal way (not saving by the "save state" option), the game is not saved. does anyone have the same problem? I've just lost 3 hours of gameplay because I saved and left the emulator, then when I tried to load the game I was playing, it showed the 4 save boxes as if they were clear. please help if you know the solution.:D

your battery pak could be dead. Your gonna have to check on ebay for replacement battery carts.

There could be something wrong with your controller-plugin. Of course, I do recommend just using the save states. They're far more reliable.

maybe you changed plugins?

Make sure to save it the first save slot. If I save there and reset the ROM my game is on all 4 squares. So hearing your problem + mine, I'm assuming you saved it on a slot other than the first and the save slot 1 copied it's blank data to the others.

Or is this not the case?

If you try messing with your input plug in. What plug-in are you using? I use N-Rage's.
