Adding Cheats

How do you add new cheats with Pj64 ?
Each time i tried to add new cheat by pressing the "Add to DB" button in Pj1.4 ,it crash !!!
Am I supposed to add cheats ONLY by editing the "Project64.cht" manually ??

Squaresoft74, found His way into #pj64cheats & reported this problem He was having adding cheat codes through the GUI (Cheats Menu/New)

We later found out the reason for this, which was the limit for cheats per game.

Which we all know is
25 codes per line (Cheat)
300 cheats per game
