<--First timer-- I need some help =/

Hello,


I just started using n64 emulators. I used to use snes emulaters and play all the old crappy games, but now that I beat all the games I downloaded I decided to move up alittle. (way better graphics) anyway I downloaded project64 and got this error message and donnot know what to do! Please help. I have candy =P

Please list your system specs. Chances are your graphics card is either not up to scratch or your drivers need updating (as well as directx).

win xp home, Mobile intel Celeron CPU 1.50ghz
256 MB, not sure about my video and sound cards

The video is the most important one really. Go to, Start>Run>Dxdiag

Now look under the display tab, then look at what it says by Display Adaptor.

One thing you can check in the meantime is to put the desktop on 16bit colour then try the emulator see if that helps.

not seeing anything. I did try the 16bit trick and it didnt work. I have a screen shot of my Dxdiag.

do you or anyone else out there know of any good 3d cards for laptops. I believed to have had one on this laptop but I guess I was wrong.
