NFL Blitz bug?

On the original NFL Blitz, it works, but the only problem is when you go to the play selection screen, you have no control. You cant see the play selector, flip plays, or even pause the game. Its like theres no controller during the play selection, but the gameplay will work ok. Does anyone experience this? This is only Blitz game that doesnt freeze. Its fun, but it would be better if you could select your plays.

Also, All Star Baseball 2001 freezes at the controller select screen.

Input: Ive tried NRages beta plugin and Jabos 1.4.

I cant seem to get your (Noote) plugin to work on mine, because it freezes 1964 when I try to configure and it doesnt acknowledge my Logitech Wingman Rumblepad.
