I have this problem with Zelda: MoM
See at the bottom of the picture how there is that half missing?
i've tried changing the resolution on the Windowed Mode, and Fullscreen even does the same.
Any idea's?
Thx

Try turning it all off, and using transfer memory.

That seems to happen to me with all region E roms on pj64 1.4 :(

yeah, it is berrable... and i've discovered that it isnt just cut off, but those Textures(or Pictures if you will), are just misplaced!

Transfer memory didnt help either, just made the game horribly slow(33 fps compared to my 60)

Try using a (U)! version of the rom.

Exactly the same as with my game. The clock isn't displayed properly, and during cutscenes and sometimes when I use the Z button, I get a black line over the top of the screen. Not that irritating, gotta live with it.
And some other textures get displaced, such as in the shops, when you're browsing items, the blue reticle that is supposed to appear with the item is usually lower than the item itself.

This is off topic, but is there any way I can improve my graphics anymore? I have the Jabo D3D plugin set to 1600x1200x32bpp and I have FSAA set to 4x and I still get some jaggies in my GFX.

I don't know. That screen looks alright to me... what are you trying to fix in particular?

The jaggies in the scenery(I have 1 of them circled). It isn't no biggie considering PJ64 looks 10 times better than a real 64, I was just curious.

Here is a screenie with more noticable jaggies.

Actually, come to think of it, this does make the game unplayable in some cases... (The cut-off thing)... first off, I can't see how much rupees I have, and I can't use the minimap! (Or do you gain access to the minimap later on?)

In the Video plugin configuration try changing Direct3D HAL to Direct 3D T&L HAL and see if that helps you.

Had no effect...
Darn, this is starting to get annoying. I can't be sure if I've got enough rupees to buy stuff such as a Bomb Bag or Potions... :plain:

What drivers do you have installed? If you are using 23.11 I would seriously recommend that you try the leaked 21.85 drivers, they seem to run everything flawlessly on my machine. BTW, the T&L HAL will make your emulation run better. ;)

Since I have a Hercules card I figured it'd be best to use their own drivers. I'm using Hercules 21.81... but I'll try to locate these nVidia 21.85 drivers.

You've gotta change the resolution on most E roms... Do this manually by editing the rdb.

are you using PJ64 INI v1.4.02, because Smiff said that he fixed Zelda PAL resolutions in 1.4.02

D3D T&L HAL makes my shit run better no 'slowdowns' or anything in either zelda or the other complex games so i advice people with Geforce2+ chips to try that shit out :D

The Fix!
Just as RadeonUser said, just add
Resolution Height=240
to your Zelda Majora's Mask section in
Project64.rdb
in your PJ66 main directory
to find your Zelda
search for Zelda(in notepad press CTRL+F)
and find the one corresponding to your version!
woohoo!
thanks radeonuser!
Or you can go download version 1.4.02 of that Rdb
Zombie so Graciously provided the link for(thanks!)
