A Question That I'm Sure Is Stupid

I have a dumb question to ask (or at least I think it's dumb). I have a Celeron 2 500 Mhz CPU, a NVidia TNT 2 w/the latest drivers, and 510 MB of memory. What I want to know is how can I make games on Project 64 run at a pretty good frame rate and still get sound? I told you it was a dumb question :)

I've got a 2nd computer -- old laptop with similar specs. Corn runs 100% speed, but only works with a few games. You can try UltraHLE2064 and 1964 with Azimer's sound plugins and Glide64/Jabo's gfx plugins. Many games will still be too slow, but some will work well.

Buy better hardware.

Or, use an HLE audio plugin (Azimer's) and check "send audio lists..." in the RSP configuration. Older games may run reasonably well, but don't press your luck with more recent games. My first suggestion is still the best.

Oh, and RTFM. It goes into greater detail.

If you are insistent on PJ64, definetely use Azimer's or no sound would be your best bet, try popping in a CD instead. I would recommend 1964 with Glide64, I think.
