Unexpected end of archive"
a .dll file, so very important. please help me!

Jabo's D3D6 1.5.1 has better compatibility, you should use that over the older 1.40 plugin. As for the error, make sure you re-download PJ64 1.5 from the official site:

The archive probably didn't download correctly the first time.

thank you Clements. I trusted your advice and PJ64 1.5 extracts completely.
I must also report that Jabo's D3D6 1.5.1 looks a little better too!

If anything, i've heard more complaints of Jabo's GFX 1.5.1 than compliments (vs. Jabo's 1.5 of course, not 1.4.) The rest of the package is definetely good, though. What exactly was that one thing that was changed in Jabo's 1.5.1? Sorry this is kind of off topic.

Direct3D6 v1.5.1

just a few tweaks made soon after v1.5 was released,
that hopefully helped with the "pausing" problem:

optimised texture cache
better matrix stack handling
optimized texture gen with SSE
less memory uses, faster searches

1.5 somehow stopped working on my comp, but since I've had 1.5.1, I've had no such problems.
