Hey Martin! (or Mods)

Hey there this is Jimbot. I was wondering, IF I wanted to
get hosted on Emulation64, how would I edit my site? Could
I still use my current editor, yahoo, and then just
replace the files somehow? Or would I have to edit
using some complicated program that I have no idea how
to work? (FTP)

BTW, my site has information on ALL SSB tournaments that
I know of, even ones that aren't mine, tutorials on
how to run PJ64k that at least 15 people have said are
REALLY helpful, and saved them from humiliation, and
much more, including Rankings of most of the online
community, the host site of an Honor Code that many
people go by, and just a basic respect of much of the
community. I also have a kaillera server in operation,
so people can get news there too. I can almost always
be contacted, be it thru email, a text box entry form
on the site, thru the server, or online.

EDIT: Thank you very much, thats exactly what i was looking for. I do in fact know html, I'm just lazy so i use the program on yahoo called pagebuilder.

If i am correct in what you incinuated, that you could view source then save as, which i've done before for my own reference(that's actually how i back up my page), then i could just save that page, then uplaod it thru... what? How do I uplaod thru ftp? Is that thru the dreamweaver program? or is it just... I have no idea.

I am very interested in my site being hosted, and just this one question and then you could set me up.

EDIT: I'm 99.999999% sure that you know this already, but emu64.com is down

If this help's, I can upload with any FTP program to my web space I get free from AOL (it's only 2MB).

Get SmartFTP from: http://www.smartftp.com/
Once you have it installed, open it up and go to:
Address: and enter the FTP address you have been given
User and Pass are self explanatory
Change the port settings if needed

Then simply press enter and you will connect

Right click, and choose upload file from the relevant menu, then upload what you need. It is often good to create a new folder in which to do this, if that is what the other person has specified you should do.

FTP is the most common way to upload; I'm sure you could do the same for Emu64, but let Martin anwer that, yes? ;)

Quite simple. But you need info first.
You need the ftp-server to connect to, username and password as well as port. Then you can upload via ftp.

the easiest way is to use an FTP program; my fav is SmartFTP (http://www.smartftp.com).
