What FPS do you get on mupen64? On my linux computer I get 20-30 FPS average on MARIO64. On Zelda OOT I get 15-30 (sometimes a little less, though sometimes a little more). on mariokart I get the same speeds as mario64 (sometimes faster though) :-).

Mupen is a slow emulator, so to play at a decent speed you'll need an Intel Pentium 4 with 2.5 ghz.

Well I don't think I'm gonna go out and buy a new computer with a pentium 4 2.5 ghz processor. My AMD 1900+ seems to run it fine anyways, and once hacktarux improves mupen64s speed... it will be even better. SO THERE! :-)

Yes indeed, mupen 2.0 runs at full speed on my computer for at least mario. The speed has been improved very much!
I don't quite know about zelda and others, but...nevertheless, it's a great speed boost and we shall thank hacktarux & dev team for it.
