1964s running to slow

i dont know if its my plug-ins or what but all my games run soooo slow i have 1964 0.8.5 and all the plug-in's and my cf is set to 3 but my Vi/s does at 1 or if im lucky maybe 2 so how can i fix it, what would be the best set up for the plug-ins

my system:
1.3 ghz
128 mb ram
winxp pro
60 gb HDD
no video card yet i will get one this weekend

yea but shouldnt my on-board video card work just as well

You need a pretty good video card for N64 emulation like a Geforce (M?)MX.

They work well enough for N64 emulation. My card would **** a brick if in the future I ran a next gen emulator on it.

yes you need to have a graphics card to run N64 ROMS on your computer, I didnt have one before, and it worked but it was slow. remember when buiying one that you need to know if you have an AGP interface or not
