Ok, looking for some opinions from those more knowledgable than I.

Haven't run Snes9x in awhile, was using v1.39.

Figured now would be a good time for an upgrade. Read another thread mentioning v1.40, but haven't looked around for it.

Also seen this stuff for v1.39mk, but I'm not sure what that is.

So: What version should I be going with? What the heck is mk, etc? :)

1.40 will be out very soon (would be already out if it weren't for a damn save state bug at the last minute :( ) But until then the best official version of Snes9x is 1.39mk3b. Well worth the upgrade. Download it from the links in this thread:

MK is the initials of the lead programmer of Snes9x at this time, Matthew Kendora.

Nifty.

I actually do have a copy of 1.39mk, just never unzipped the smegging thing to use it.

I'll check it out now. Thanks! :)
