Hey guys, I just wanted to say Hello. I just started Emulating N64 games after years of 32- Bit systems. ^_^ Ok, I just played three games, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Extreme G, Extreme G2 and each looks A LOT better than how it was on N64, but the sound's REALLY choppy. The Video's fine, so I don't think it's a Hardware issue not being able to run it. Question time: What should I do to fix this? How can I get Net-Play working, and will someone care to test it with me? Last question... do they have N64 controllers for the PC, if so are they compatable with Project64 (I feel like joining the SSB tournament.) ^_^ Ok, thanks for your time guys.

Try turning on sync game to audio.
PJ64k for netplay, no I can't test it with you, but I would love to play online, but I get (very) bad ping times.
And the best controller for N64 EMU's is the Adaptoid + a real N64 controller, but I use a Logitech WingMan RumblePad for N64 EMU's and my SNES LPT for other 2D based EMU's.

I think the choppy sound is because of you 1.1ghz proc, but you can give azimer's audio plug a try because it works on slower systems.

Natpley is a different program than the one you proabaly have. Look at the name of your window. If it says anything about 1.4 Core, then you have netplay. If it says 1.5, then you have non-netplay (but its better quality). To run netplay, visit this site: (It also has the pj64k download) http://www.geocities.com/dewluigi2002/EmulatorBasics.html

Ok, I got PJ64K, and unzipped it in a folder in My Documents called "Project64K." Now I have all my games, including the corrupt SSB in a folder called "ROMS." So I open the Project64K and runnning SSB doesn't work because it's busted. So I'll find a new .rom, but is there anything I missed?

Where could I get the N64 Adapter dilly? Is it somewhat widely available.

I think they are back in stock over at www.jandaman.com , not sure though so don't take my word for it.

Ok, thanks. Now, one more question, I just need to enter the GameShark code for All Characters and then I'm set? What's the code?

Do I look like a dictionary? It should be in your cheats file which comes with Project64, and if the one included lacks the cheat check http://www.pj64cheats.net/ for a updated version...

Question: You said 'after years of emulating 32-bit systems...'

32-bit systems haven't been emulated for YEARS, and at that only ONE of them has been emulated successfully for an appreciable amount of time. :flowers:
