Well, here goes. [clicks submit button at 1:36 AM]
Schibo wasn't able to respond to my e-mail in time so I made due with the resources I had. If there are any technical problems, please e-mail me.
This goes to all those authors who made emus with toolbars and made all this possible.

Looks promising but what about the rest of the emulators out there? And remember to not do it too good otherwise a slew of emus might appear out of nowhere ;)

1964.exe from the 0.8.5 compilation in the emu distribution was compressed to save download time for "those of low bandwidth". Such exe compressions make resource hacking a pain and are difficult to reverse. The file size may be smaller, but it expands to full size in your system's memory anyways.
If you tried using Resource Hacker on the 1964.exe from v0.8.5, you most likely recieved errors when expanding the sub-folders, due to exe compression. My friend finally finished installing all the needed utilities to recompile the exe for me without the compression today and the exe is now ready for editing :satisfied.

It's Kahenraz contribution to the current contest, best n64 emulation related writing, which is about giving various emulators a facelift. If someone would think that's needed. But when giving this a little thought, both 1964 and Project64 are open source so changing the apperance is much easier the right way, instead of the wrong way...
