Hey guys. A new tournament is beginning. As you may or may not know, both Katon and I host tournaments. The reason we both do it is so that everone on various boards can participate. However, with katon not hosting another tournament, I've decided to do away with the board requirement and just have people enter their names right on my site! Check it out, register before July 14th. I hope to get at least 32 poeple in this one. The rules will be the same as last time, pretty much everything's the same. E/x for the fact that we dont need a host website. Ask your questions here, thats the point of the thread.

its just i cant get rid of the cheats,i used 1 little cheat for 1 little thing...and all of a sudden the cheats are on forever...i cant compleete the game because i already have all the medalions but i didnt even beat the level? do you have an idea how i can get rid of my cheats?

There's a file somewhere in your directory of PRoject 64 called Project64.cht

Open it using notepad or wordpad, find your cheat you don't want anymore, then delete it.... after you're done, save it and whala :D

Just delete it from the file I told you about but don't delete the file itself.

In Vs. Mode select any human controlled player and any 3 computer players. Choose Stock Mode, and set the number lives to 10, and computer handicaps to 5. Play and win the a game. Now go to Options in Vs. Mode you can access the Item Switch Menu.

I hate Items, less skill. But my SSB is REALLY weird, it gets really choppy, there's a wierd boarder around the screen and I can't see the bottom of the screen.

I'd like to register for the next one, but don't know how well PJ64K does with 56k? I've played Metal Slug 3 all the way through with a buddy who hosted the game on cable, and thats a pretty fast paced game? Are 56k users allow to register?

i wouldnt recommend playing in a tournament on 56k because other people will have the advantage. and i dont think hes going to be holding any more tournys after this one

Fixed alexa, I mixed it up with a normal for samus, and somewhwere your two app's got crossed.

Your right, I'm doing anymore, and 56k is hard to to, but if you do enough stuff to prevent it, it wont be a prob. But, I have other's tournaments on my site, so check it out.

Well, congrats to JaimeHR, one of the four great players on kaillera that will reach the final four. He must be great, because this tournament started out with 32 people, and Jaime went thru three tough matches against the toughest region of the tourney. First, he defeated MisterButlertron, the cocky ass from GameFAQS. Then, he beat Mike Oxbig, AKA Raw64life, in a nail-biter. Then Slayn WAR took a Jaime-pill up the rear and was defeated. Great job JaimeHR! :D

Well, Frag made it to the final four, and then to the semi's, but then cHaos won the entire thing. Holy shit man, you're great.

BTW, I'm sorry to say that this past tournament will be my last one this year. The Summer Trilogy Series, sponsored by Jimbot, is officially over. The Second Annual Summer Series should start registering around the end of May in 2004, with Matches starting mid June. I might hold an invitation-only tourney sometime in between then and now, but it probly wont happen.

Well, I will be checking this thread and giving release information and tutorials on subsequent versions of PJ64k with the same quality as everyone is used to, so that n00bs don't infest the online community. I'll still be online a lot, too.

1. Well, I've not scheduled one, cuase I have school and all. It's much easier when almost everyone you need to play is at home for most of the time, and doesn't have homework (the summer). Will probly do one then. Also, someone else has tried to make tourneys and such, but most of the ones that I don't do suck. They just do. Not only do not a lot of people join, but most everyone drops out.

2. As you can see if you look on my site, cHaos, FragMasterGen, and JaimeHR are the best that I know of. There is one that I have heard of, that seems to be pretty good, but he's never done a tourney. Almost all of the best players, and even ones that aren't so good, but play honorably, have the (SsB) logo tagged on the back. I gave them the right to use it, because I have played them and know they know what to do.

3. Which tournament? An online? or actually somewhere? (I heard a Boston one occured recently)

Hexi: Although I have thot about it, I'm really not sure whether I will or not. Mostly not because I really can't limit people to using just one emu, and because the gameplay doesn't differ at all. There's really nothing that can be improved, tourney-wise, except for stuff I haven't done (such as no items), that will be improved by a new emu. I strongly discourage anyone who doesn't have full speed capabilities to join a tournament, so speed really doesn't matter, and even will be improved on in the next release! But, for the new 1964, (I'm assuming it's eventually going to work (as of Oct. 7, 2003, it doesn't work)), it should only be a new experience in netplay, not something life-altering.

Also, I really don't think I have enough time to devote all the time i should be able to to effectively do a tournament. I run cross country, and I have 4 AP classes in high school. No time for games, although I do check my email and this site.
