Wtf is up with this? All of a sudden, I get an error message saying I don't have a license to use the common dialog (comdlg32.ocx) in design mode! How comes?
This is really annoying and is destroying for me...any ideas?
The only thing I've done lately is to get and install visual studio .net

This is a known problem and there are fixes available from Microsoft.

Are you using VB6 or something else?

At any rate, this KB article has the VB6 fix.

[Edit: Is it just me, or is there a forum based setting that makes the links underlined or otherwise. Before the vB3 upgrade I could see the links, now I have to hover over them to actually know where they are. Any clues?]

No, I'm using .NET
That fix doesn't work for .NET

EDIT:
Yes, the board is disabling the lines via CSS:
body a:link {
color: #000000;
text-decoration: none;
}
body a:visited {
color: #000000;
text-decoration: none;
}
body a:hover, body a:active {
color: #336699;
text-decoration: underline;
}

The first link is a messy ones, asking for like to launch a file from a cd i don't have.
The second one links to the fix for vb5/6 seperately. I've tried using them to no avail; it complains the version is incorrect. :crazy:

Too bloody boring :puke:
Curse microsoft for these errors. Alternatively, I could use the api, but I'm not too much into that...
