Ok, I don't know whether this is just in my head, but a long time ago, could be perhaps a year now, wasn't there an emulator that just played the music on a Saturn CD? It did nothing else but play music off the CDs...

Any help on whether this exists or not would be appreciated.

Have you checked zophar's domain? If such a program exists, they should have it (although they haven't been as great as they used to be, less updates, spyware cookies, etc...)

i go there daily, and they have no such program on file. unless they just didn't bother to include that information or something. or if they have it kept on some page i've managed to completely overlook for the past few years. both of which are entirely possible lol

I don't recall a Saturn emulator that plays only the music. But there are a few programs which could play/record/convert saturn music/video files.

This program can play/convert saturn video/audio files:

It's in french though.

You can find other saturn utilities at segaxtreme. ;)

To play Saturn CinePack Movies (CPK's) just use the attachent below, install this codec, and you should be able to watch most saturn movies in windows media player etc :D
