SP1 for Project64 v1.5 out!

This is some cool news, it's been a while since we heard from the team. To the news:

Smiff let us know in <a href=http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14558">this thread</a> that the <a href="http://pj64.emulation64.com">Project64 team</a> has released Service Pack 1 for Project64 v1.5, on the emulator's official <a href="http://pj64.emulation64.com/support/">support site</a>. Great job everyone! Here's what Smiff has to say about the release:

EDIT: Jabo's d3d 6 1.5.1!!!!. havn't tested it yet :happy:

Direct3D6 v1.5.1

just a few tweaks made soon after v1.5 was released,
that hopefully helped with the "pausing" problem:

optimised texture cache
better matrix stack handling
optimized texture gen with SSE
less memory uses, faster searches

I did. I see the funny side, but after mulling over possible names, i went with one that would be clear, descriptive and importantly that most users would want to get... it's for their benefit, not us in the 'emulation scene' (who could tweak, find and apply seperately released files anyway). Okay, hope that hasn't made it even more pretentious :p

PJ64 has lots of users who aren't particularly interested in emutalk or even in emulation. Whether i should be caring about them.. that's another question entirely lol, but i do so... SP1 it is.. then probably SP1a to fix a few more things.

calm down, two guys above, it's just minor, it's cannot be called.. what you called it.

what i came here to say was, i guess it did get noticed (referring to what i said to Nephalim above), checking the pj64 site logs, the file has been hit 22,831 times (this is up to June 14th), eating 7.5GB of Martin's bandwidth.. hope this is ok Martin? :blush: crazy numbers for a minor release.

thank f**k my installer worked properly lol (haven't heard complaints anyway). it's way more complicated than it ought to be.

You know that it isn't continued...well, at least not the emulator. But the rdb, cheats and languages still continue to update and seemingly never dies.
