Hey hi. Yea.

akito told me about this DLL, so I decided to give it a shot.

Anyway, I formatted my computer today (gotta do that every oncec in a while.. oh fun times). Anyway, I was testing something, which involved using the DLL. I dont actually use the script included, and just implemented it into my script. Anyway, I was testing.

I kept getting some odd "unable to open darkenginepro.dll".
Strange, other mIRC dlls were working fine. So I finished installing Windows 2000 SP3. Tried again, nothing. Installed IE6SP1, still nothing. So I am getting frustrated, and just decided to finish installing all my stuff. This included DirectX 9.0.... Funny thing is, I tried the DLL again, and low and behold, it works.

Anyway, being that MY problem was solved, I decided to point something out. Nowhere on the webpage, read me, anywhere really, does it say anything about requiring DX9 (or 8... whatever it is, I have no idea what the requirement is.. Win2k ships with 7, if I remember correctly). I would suggest putting that somewhere, so people know. I'd hate to see people have the same troubles.

Honestly, I think it is the DirectX thing. It had problems before I updated, afterwards.. all was well..

Perhaps some insight into this would work. Yea.
