I just want to start Zelda:Ocarina of time but there come all the time an error message: Error initializing plugins- can't continue execution. I've realize that i need another plugin...
Which information about my PC do you need to solve my problem?

The most important thing we need to know is what graphics card you have, other good things for us to know include processor type and Direct X revision you have installed.

i have a pentium4 2,4Ghz
Geforce4 Ti 4200
I'm not sure which version of directx but i think one of the newest
(I've installed a new game which needs directx)

He most likely has 8.1 then. I'm assuming that he has Windows XP and that's default. Lets just hope be installed 8.1b.

Hah I had this, download the new graphics card driver and uninstall your existing one and then install the one you have downloaded. Try again after that.

I'll try it tomorrow.

Good evening all,

I've downloaded the newest directx version (9.0a) and the newest graphic drivers for my graphic card. The error still appears when i want to start the game.
I don't know what else i can do.

Are you using Lemmy's Video Plugin? Use that. If not, switch to Jabo's D3D6 1.5 that comes with Project64, remembering to copy the msvcr70.dll file from Project64 into the Nemu directory, and the plugin into the plugin directory.

I don't know which plugin i have.
I just downloaded nemu.
Where can i get "lemmy's Video plugin" or is it the standard plugin?

You must be using Lemmy's then (its the standard video plugin that comes with it) You might have more luck with Jabo's D3D6 1.5 as it is more compatible.

it works with project 64
but not with nemu :/

It works, but you have to copy the msvcr70.dll file from PJ64 into the Nemu directory. If not, try looking in the plugins section at the bottom, download them all and try each one. If there's still a problem, Nemu has not been configured correctly.

Also: Using Mightyrocket's ini? You'll find it using search, its in the Nemu forum, you might have to look for it. It's a lot better than the one that comes with Nemu. Try that.

I've copied msvcr70.dll into the Nemu directory.
I've copied all graphic plugins into the Plugin directory.
I tried all out in Nemu
(Options-->settings-->graphic plugins)

I copied Mightyrocket's.ini into the Nemu directory.

Same like before. It doesn't work :(

Try the rom in PJ64 or 1964 to see if that works.

Make sure you scan the rom with GoodN64.

One other thing, go into Dxdiag and ensure that DX acceleration is enabled, it can at times disable itself for some unknown reason.

As I said. It works in Project64.
