Idiot's guide to setup?

Just a quick question: I'm having a difficult time configuring Nemu and I know I'm missing something obvious. Is there an idiot's guide to configuring the emu? I'm trying to use an ATI 9500 graphics card, DX 8, the nemu executable and other files, a rom placed in the nemu directory and I'm getting zilcho - just a black screen.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Amen. Im having the same problem. But im using Geforce4 mx440 with Dx9 and i get zilch too.
