I like having plants in my home, but I certainly don't have a green thumb. All my plants die. :(
Could anyone recommend some plants that are easy to care for, and look nice. They need to be tough; able to survive conditions of low light and much neglect. :flowers:

Yeah.

I remember reading about a plant long ago that could survive great abuse. I can't remember the name, and research online hasn't turned up anything. Hrm, I don't want a fake.

Cacti are my favourite, as they look great and require little watering, and the 'offshoots' you get can be removed and replanted. Money trees are also great house plants. Just don't be tempted by Venus Fly Traps as they need a lot of attention or they die off quickly! :)

If you're interested in vegetables, then Pea plants are good. If all else fails, there's always cress!

I was about to say cacti as well. You can neglect the hell out of them and they will last. Some cacti aren't realy that thorny if its much concern, namely aloe vera.
