About input-plugins

Maybe this is a stupid question, but do input-plugins make any difference for the speed of the emulation?

every composant of an emulator makes a difference but an input plugin takes far less ressources than a video plugin or sound plugin

Which input-plugin takes the lowest resources? I'm using Jabo's.

Input plugins rarely take much resources, so you can't really compare. It isn't like they have to draw gfx, like gfx plugins; so any input plugin would work well. The currently best out there is n-rage's.

As many have said Input plugins don't use much in terms of resources. However some can, for example if the input plugin handles internet play.
