Does anyone here have a gamecube who does not live in usa or canada? Elsewhere, like in europe or somewhere beyond the america continent.

If so, then did you buy it with the free game offer? And if you did, where'd you buy it? If other then a retail store that is.

hrm .. i dunno if its cheaper in the usa actually. plus ull prolly get an ntsc cube then too. if u take ebay ... well ... personally i wouldnt wanna order such an expensive thing from the usa .. too risky, but you decide :)

i quite like my gamecube, it seems to do mutiplatform titles better than the ps2 as well

well.. nintendos consoles were always directed at the asian group.. the cute graphics and rpg like games.. the variety of games isn't much.. as for consoles like ps2 and xbox have the ability to have soo many different titles and different genres

I like my Gamecube, and with:

Eternal Darkness
SSBM
Super Mario Sunshine (It's not Mario64 brilliant but come on nothing will be),
Burnout
Timesplitters 2
Mario Party 4

I'm very pleased with it

and there's stuff for the future, like

Metroid Prime
PSO Episodes 1 & 2
Zelda
Burnout 2
F-Zero

and yes this is a euro centric list

my advice is to shop around for a nice deal, the free game one is pretty cool, check out online as well

Buy your gc from europe and if your wishing to import games get the freeloader, amazon has some godd prices btw.

The free game deal is what i'm after, too. Most sites are usa as you know. The uk ones are rather expensive.

I'll be checking out ebay, however.

If you mean by "variety" that of all the games line-up, 95% sucks!, then in that are the XBox and PS2 winners.

Tell me good PS2-ONLY games besides:

- Final Fantasy X
- Kingdom Hearts
- ATV ORF 2
- Xenosaga
- ZOE

GTA3, Everquest and other games can't count as PS2 only. They are also on the PC. (Don't come here to tell me that a console is different from a PC to play games, because you'll get slapped!. The PC has better graphics and way a lot of upgrades for a game.)

If you want Good XBox only games, as of now:

- Halo (i didn't like it. Liked more Perfect Dark)
- DOA3 (cough!-Soul Calibur-cough!).

Now. Where you can find anything fun like Super Smash Bros Meele, Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkness, Pikmin, F-Zero, The Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, Mario Kart (TBR), etc?

RPG like games? ¿¿¿WTF??? Then what the **** is FFX, Kingdom Hearts and Xenosaga? Multiplatform games?

Cute graphics. I like that. Metroid Prime is one hell of example for "Cute Graphics" compared to games, like "Grand Theft Auto".

If you ever, EVER, read the PSX history, you would know that was a creation of Nintendo: They told Sony to make them a SNES CD add-on. Later, that "failure" because of the greedy contract Sony gave to Nintendo, became the PSX.

One more thing. If you want to know how the PS2 rocks, then try to program it, using Low Level Language for a 3 processor machine that the 3 works in Parallel and with 4 MB of VRAM to try to show anything higher than 3 millions of Polygons per second. That is the reality of the PS2: Almost OBSOLETE by today standards.

Please, try to prove me wrong. (Not with the XBox. That is a PC with a TV Out only!)

if you read IGN lately you will see that games that are multi platform are being called best on Game Cube and XBox. the only 2 that i know of so far that this applies to are LOTRTT and Night Fire respectively. so people, PLEASE give the cube some frickin respect. it's powerful and fun. and it does have the BEST exclusive games out there.

Anyone here played Zelda yet? Raging Fuel just imported it and i must say, i'm loving not only the game but the graphics, it all just flows so well. So far for me it would definately be up there with oot cause it is just so good :)
