possible problem emulating Ocarina of Time?

I've never played ocarina of time on an actual machine, but i've talked to two buddies who beat it, so i'm pretty sure my information is accurate (even though thier memories are old)

when i play ocarina of time on project 64, i can only collect a max of 99 rupee's. some items cost 300+. talking to friends who played the original version, 99 should not be max.

is this a problem with the emulation? or a possible corruption of my download? not sure how the latter could be true, but it's an idea.

furthermore, is there a place i can look up known issues like this? i cant seem to find any good info at the pj64 website.

ya know guy's, this is what i figured. i knew of the bigger wallets in Majora's Mask, but they assured me that ocarina of time had one standard size of wallet.
