Save states database?

What do you guys think of a database with N64 save states section at Emu64? People could submit their save states in a specific thread at EmuTalk and they'd show up at Emu64.

Just an idea that crossed my mind while I was looking for a Mario Golf save state. :P

Good idea. The thing is that most save states don't fit @ ET. :)

like the idea ... even tho not everyone should be able to post states imo .. it would probably end up being cluttered with trash but thats just my optimism :P erm .. just kidding of course. still, there is some sorta control required. how about a way to submit saves states that can be controlled by someone before they become available?

Organisation would be critical if this is going to work as there are so many dumps of each game.

What about A-Z and submiting a save state the region and version must be stated. Is there a code which is unique to each version of a rom?

Martin, if you use the search feature, im pretty sure there is already a thread (in pj64's forum methinks) which has a lotta save states/mempaks/save data. If i remember right, there was two threads already!

anywho, if you are going to add such a feature..limit it to only mempaks and save data to keep the size down. and yes, i have 1+mb saves :doh:
